6th Travelogue of our little China Tour - Hong Kong 2 Ocean Park

From Shanghai, we wish all readers a happy new year and happy new year 2007. As always, good intentions into action and I'm also go at it, namely the trip report at last to write. The last few days was reduced our Internet connection is very strong. The reason was the earthquake in Taiwan damaged undersea cables and the resulting. For example, China was almost completely separated from the rest of the Internet. Emails and websites could not be received, even send was impossible. But now, finally, the continuation of the trip report, as was announced this time from the Ocean Park in Hong Kong. The Ocean Park is on Hong Kong Iceland and is a mixture of amusement park with roller coaster, other rides and Aquarium and Dolphinarium. Arriving at the rather unspectacular entrance we bought the first tickets for 20 € per person. Shortly after the entrance We also met the first "resident" of the Ocean Park, the flamingos.



One of the rides was unfortunately not in operation, the second use, however we could. There it went through the loops or screws with a lot of screaming over the metal rails. Much more can be written to not be that must-have experienced.



Then we drove to the lookout tower from which you had a good view over the park. It was driven into the air and then it went around a lap, with the whole cabin, so you could see the whole park, without having to get up for it ;-)



in Ocean Park was also an aquarium with all kinds of sea creatures. Here is a small squid that looks very excited at the camera, he thought he comes on TV is ;-). Back out side, was already the time has come to take residence in the Dolphinarium in order to see the show. First, however, showed the seals of your art pieces, such as a state found their fins.



Definarium dolphins were also present. They were of course the best jumps and somersaults and so were the highlight of the show.



When the dolphin seal show was over, we went again into the air and were in free fall from the height back down to earth. Sorry, you can see here again the gloomy sky, in Hong Kong to the regret of all photographers there so often. Nevertheless, we get some good pictures. The conclusion of the trip in the Ocean Park in Hong Kong was the visit of the jellyfish aquarium. There we could watch live jellyfish, which were illuminated with different colored light artistically.



After the jellyfish aquarium was then already time we were back on the way back. This time we chose the cable car to return to the bus stops at the entrance to come back. It went over the mountains down to the bus stops, where we and classifying it in the queue of people waiting and back to the subway and rode to the hotel.

This was our visit to the Hong Kong Ocean Park, but the journey is still continuing, as the largest free-fitting Buddha on Lantau in the world Iceland. But this report will come later, but keep the good intentions he does not come much later ;-)
