After a long wait finally the continuation of the travel report. As written, we decided to visit the largest sitting Buddha in the world free. This seat on Enem mountain on Lantau Island, west of Victoria and Iceland. Lantau is home to the last few years, the new international airport, Hong Kong, but more on that later.
The journey began with the Metro up to Victoria, where we then boarded the ferry to Mui Wo. These ferries take about 30 minutes if you choose the ringing ferry. The slow then ever need an extra hour. The road to the ferry out Hong Kong by the IFC, a truly impressive building right on the shore of the bay from Hong Kong. Then we came to the ferry and the journey began.

In MUi Where should I go then to the bus, the line No. 2 This bus takes visitors then direct to Ngong Ping to the Po Lin Monastery, which is also the largest free-seitz border bronze Buddha in the world is at home. You can make this trip by bicycle, but this will be a new trip report (maybe ;-)) Also, bicycles are an important means of transport, as you can see the bike parking area next to the bus stops. After we looked around and above us begrudged a break, we went to the decline that was not much easier than the ascent. As we see more and more people came up the stairs, just good that we were pretty early here and we have not had to jostle on the stairs. The subsequent visit to the Po Lin Monastery was a culinary "delight" crowned, a vegetarian lunch, all included in admission price. In the monastery there was again much to see, for example, this wall relief with elaborate cast in stone figures.

After we were back in Hong Kong, we went to the Peak Tram up to the Aussichtspunt to us once the laser show to watch from the other side.
