Dear reader community. Situation here is nothing new was written. Now I will once again write a few lines. Here in Shanghai we have a firm grip on the summer. HOn umd the temperatures 40 ° C, the smallest movement to the adventure. The high humidity or supports, the sweating is normal.
will in the near future I might even finish the trip report, but it depends on how I can log on to Live Journal, which currently only works through proxy server and not very successful, or comfortable. Nevertheless, not buried all hopes, somehow there is always a way. Until then I wish you happy sweating and looks us again.

travelogue of our little China Tour - Hong Kong do not forget 3 Po Lin Monastery with the Buddha
After a long wait finally the continuation of the travel report. As written, we decided to visit the largest sitting Buddha in the world free. This seat on Enem mountain on Lantau Island, west of Victoria and Iceland. Lantau is home to the last few years, the new international airport, Hong Kong, but more on that later.
The journey began with the Metro up to Victoria, where we then boarded the ferry to Mui Wo. These ferries take about 30 minutes if you choose the ringing ferry. The slow then ever need an extra hour. The road to the ferry out Hong Kong by the IFC, a truly impressive building right on the shore of the bay from Hong Kong. Then we came to the ferry and the journey began.
disappeared Quick Hong Kong and the many small islands behind us in the haze, which is unfortunately very often to be found. Lots of small and large boats we met, well clear at such an important port city. After the short drive we reached already Mui Wo, a tiny fishing village in the south of Lantau.
Here you can still see 2 pictures of the ferry, these things are really fast and comfortable. The only downside is you can not go during the journey into the open.
In MUi Where should I go then to the bus, the line No. 2 This bus takes visitors then direct to Ngong Ping to the Po Lin Monastery, which is also the largest free-seitz border bronze Buddha in the world is at home. You can make this trip by bicycle, but this will be a new trip report (maybe ;-)) Also, bicycles are an important means of transport, as you can see the bike parking area next to the bus stops. Although the village is so little, is always provided to foreign tourists, including this one of the many McDonalds stores.
After a good half hour bus ride we arrived at last and they also like the Buddha sitting on his mountain. As you can see, we were not alone, here come from very many tourists, Chinese and foreign. Now it was time once again take a deep breath and climb the ladder, after a few breathers and a Bilck down then we reached the foot of the Buddha.
waved Once at the top of the Buddha friendly to us and we had a great view of the surroundings. Fairly high the mountain, one of many on the Lantau Island.
After we looked around and above us begrudged a break, we went to the decline that was not much easier than the ascent. As we see more and more people came up the stairs, just good that we were pretty early here and we have not had to jostle on the stairs. The subsequent visit to the Po Lin Monastery was a culinary "delight" crowned, a vegetarian lunch, all included in admission price. In the monastery there was again much to see, for example, this wall relief with elaborate cast in stone figures.
addition to the Po Lin Monastery and Ngong Ping, the new tourist village was built, where visitors can buy various souvenirs or something to eat or drink. From there, you also take a look back to the Buddha.
Ngon Ping is also the starting point of the new cable car "Ngong Ping 360", the visitors then directly back to the international airport of Hong Kong brings. Here is a look back at Ngong Ping, shortly after departure and a look forward to what awaits us.
As goes the cable car on the Roadmap half the island, she has to travel once around the corner. That happened this turning stations, there is the easy way and deflected it goes in the other direction, over hill and valley, as shown on the next screen.
Then we arrived at the airport, but first we had to cross the ocean yet, no joy for people with vertigo ;-) links, you watch even the first terminal building, and the right first residential high-rises. After the last tail station we went directly to the destination, even here the large to see concrete blocks.
At the end point of the cable car "Ngong Ping 360" we were still a hazy sunset seen. The next target is the Peak Tram.
After we were back in Hong Kong, we went to the Peak Tram up to the Aussichtspunt to us once the laser show to watch from the other side. Inside the Peak Tram, you watch the ads for the individual stations. The Peak Tram is also quite steep and despite customized design you sometimes had the feeling to be in the seat to be seen at the 2nd Image.
top of the peak we were able to see the whole show, unfortunately not as nice as the other side of Kowloon. Nevertheless, the outlook was very beautiful, constantly changing the color of lights on the buildings.
went after this long day, we will reflect back to Yau Ma Tei, where we then disappeared after a brief swing through the night market in our hotels. Here is the picture of the metro station and a picture of the elevator of our hotel. Who can tell what's wrong? Merry rates and have fun until next time,
Lumi

Hi, I have not forgotten you, but unfortunately is not writing the reports as soon as I really want to. In addition, there are some problems in accessing Live Journal, which here in China is not well through the firewall. Shanghai is once again a little cooler after the 2 weeks Chinese New Year celebrations were pretty good actually. So, until the next entry and I hope that this will be stored here at all.

What Store Sells Potash Alum
6th Travelogue of our little China Tour - Hong Kong 2 Ocean Park
From Shanghai, we wish all readers a happy new year and happy new year 2007. As always, good intentions into action and I'm also go at it, namely the trip report at last to write. The last few days was reduced our Internet connection is very strong. The reason was the earthquake in Taiwan damaged undersea cables and the resulting. For example, China was almost completely separated from the rest of the Internet. Emails and websites could not be received, even send was impossible. But now, finally, the continuation of the trip report, as was announced this time from the Ocean Park in Hong Kong. The Ocean Park is on Hong Kong Iceland and is a mixture of amusement park with roller coaster, other rides and Aquarium and Dolphinarium. Arriving at the rather unspectacular entrance we bought the first tickets for 20 € per person. Shortly after the entrance We also met the first "resident" of the Ocean Park, the flamingos.
One of the rides was unfortunately not in operation, the second use, however we could. There it went through the loops or screws with a lot of screaming over the metal rails. Much more can be written to not be that must-have experienced.
Then we drove to the lookout tower from which you had a good view over the park. It was driven into the air and then it went around a lap, with the whole cabin, so you could see the whole park, without having to get up for it ;-)
in Ocean Park was also an aquarium with all kinds of sea creatures. Here is a small squid that looks very excited at the camera, he thought he comes on TV is ;-). Back out side, was already the time has come to take residence in the Dolphinarium in order to see the show. First, however, showed the seals of your art pieces, such as a state found their fins.
Definarium dolphins were also present. They were of course the best jumps and somersaults and so were the highlight of the show.
When the dolphin seal show was over, we went again into the air and were in free fall from the height back down to earth. Sorry, you can see here again the gloomy sky, in Hong Kong to the regret of all photographers there so often. Nevertheless, we get some good pictures. The conclusion of the trip in the Ocean Park in Hong Kong was the visit of the jellyfish aquarium. There we could watch live jellyfish, which were illuminated with different colored light artistically.
After the jellyfish aquarium was then already time we were back on the way back. This time we chose the cable car to return to the bus stops at the entrance to come back. It went over the mountains down to the bus stops, where we and classifying it in the queue of people waiting and back to the subway and rode to the hotel.
Here is a picture of one way piece of Seilbahnund the fountain at the output of Ocean Park in Hong Kong.
This was our visit to the Hong Kong Ocean Park, but the journey is still continuing, as the largest free-fitting Buddha on Lantau in the world Iceland. But this report will come later, but keep the good intentions he does not come much later ;-)
